Eric Pomisel is the owner and president of GroKind Organics, one of Long Island's premier organic landscaping companies.
Eric started his own professional career back in 1989, when he started Sterling Landscaping. After 2 years of using synthetic fertilizers, unbeknown to his customers, Eric decided to transition fully to organic materials for the health of himself, his family and the planet. He had amazing results! Eric continued on his quest with Sterling Landscaping and healthy landscaping until 2006 when he started his second organic landscaping company, GroKind Organics.
Eric has sat on the board of LIAA since 2003. He is
a NOFA member, a LYCEUM graduate and holds a
certificate for Organics from Suffolk County, as well
as, receiving an achievement award from NYS for
his many Organic Achievements (2006).
Eric was nominated for The Best Green Company by

on News 12 (2008) and in Newsday (2006 & 2011). Eric has been a Guest Speaker at many organic seminars in and around New York.
